2023 Lexus of Central Coast Golf Day

With recent dry weather, we knew low scores will be in order of the day, One of the teams had an incredible round of 60 and unfortunately if it wasn't for their handicap they would've went home with a victory. At the end of the day it was just half a shot that separated the top two teams. Placing in third we had Sanjeev Mehta, Grahame Muller, Stewart Scoon & Dane Thatcher had an ordinary start and were one over par after four holes. Fortunately for them, seven birdies would follow in a succession before getting a bogey on their last hole putting them into third place with nett 55.75. 

The runners up of the day were off to a strong start on the green with three birdies in their first four holes, however unfortunately for them they couldn't keep that momentum and only managed another three birdies for  the rest of the round and a lone bogey on the 18th to finish with nett 54.12, well done Tony Pagliaro, Ross Pattern, Peter Lulic & Millie Lulic. The winners of the day did not get off to a good start and had a birdie, a bogey and two pars in their first four holes. Although everything changed for them when they went onto a incredible run of golf to play the next six holes in eight under par, but with their low handicaps and a birdie on the last hole taking out a victory with 53.62. A big congratulations to our winners Paul Buffey, Michael Sissons, Dave Hennessy & Graeme Dell. 

The on course charity event raised in excess of $2,000 for the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation, a big thank you for contributing for a great foundation. Two of our guests also joined in some tennis tuition with Riley and the winner of the five set battle was Magdalena Hussey. As we were coming to the end of the day the opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and to play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn, Troy Howe was the lucky winner for this prize. Troy was given the opportunity to participate in the Royal Melbourne Golf Club and to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
