2022 Lexus of Central Coast Golf Day
Our annual Lexus of Central Coast Golf Day is back and our first Tennis Invitational which was held on Friday the 16th September this year. We would like to say a big thank you to all our amazing clients who could join us on this very eventful day!
After heavy rain the day before, we were luckily treated to beautiful weather. Located at the beautiful Kooindah Waters Golf Club, this championship gold course is built on natural wetlands in a stunning bushland setting and boasts some amazing wildlife including hundreds of species of birds and for the very first time Mercure Kooindah Waters has opened the resort's tennis court for our Lexus owners to enjoy the same Encore Experience with professional tennis coaching. The day was open to players of all levels and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
The day was filled top tier golf, beautiful surroundings of the golf course as well as stunning cars to look at as they were showcased throughout the event. We knew we were in for an eventful and good scoring day when Dimi Papadatos (Lexus Golf Ambassador) and three other golf pros assisting on the day. Placing third place we had Adam Mead, Darren Welsh, Sanjeev Mehta & Graham Muller started slowly with five straight pars with a score of 53.75. To follow up with an identical score of 53.75 by the runners up Their round started well with some early birdies but then on their 5th hole (the 9th) they made their only bogey of the day to slow momentum. Luckily for them, two birdies and two eagles would follow and allow them to shoot 65. Well played, Trevor McMullen, Stephen Holmes, Brian White & John Quinlan. The winners were off to a great start with a birdie on their first hole. This was followed by three more birdies and a hole in one on the charity hole that allowed them to win by just over a shot with nett 52.25. Congratulations Kay Walker (36), Maria McGann (36), David Manson (q5) & Wayne Cassidy (23).
