2021 Lexus Of Central Coast Golf Day

Lexus of Central Coast Golf Invitational was hosted at Kooindah Waters Golf Club under cautionary conditions this year but we were luckily enough in the end the rain stayed away until the post golf function and it was well underway!

 

This year there were a number of golf professionals on the Kooindah Waters Golf course this year, including Lexus Golf Ambassador Dimi Papadatos so were expecting very high scores. We had two teams shoot fantastic scores of 61, however only one team would be able to take out the winners prize. One of the 61s came from a low handicapped team and once nett score was established, unfortunately they didn't end up making top three. There was a mixed bag for third place with two eagles, six birdies and two bogeys to finish with nett 53.25. Well played, Fay Bailey, Judy Ruitenberg, John Dolton & Howard Moore. 

 

 

 

 

The runners up of Tim Stapleton, Judy Stapleton, Richard Greville & Virginia Greville snuck in front of third place by just 0.375 of a shot and can thank a bogey free round after also recording six birdies and two eagles. However unfortunately for them, they got a par on the last green instead of a birdie which made get into second place by just 0.75 of a shot. The winners of the Golf Day shot thew equal lowest score of the day, a 61 coming out of the blocks, until a back nine of eight birdies and one par was enough to get them ontop of the leader board this year. A big congratulations to  to Stewart Scoon, Jason Thompson, Paul Bolton & Clyde Wyborn  who finished with nett 52.12.

 

 

 

 

 

 

More then double last year a we raised a whooping $2,070 for Kids for Cancer, We liked to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the cause, We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who came out on the day even with miserable conditions. But it still turned out to be an amazing day.
