2020 Lexus of Central Coast Golf Day
After a week of rainy and stormy weather, the course was presented beautifully and the weather changed for the better! We had around 50 guests take part in our annual golf day this year and people got to "experience amazing" on behalf of Lexus of Central Coast. The charity event on course raised $850 for Kids with Cancer, a big thank you to everyone who contributed to this charity event.
It was a good day to be on the greens as they were in fantastic conditions and for us good greens means good scores from our players. Coming in lucky last with nett 57.75 was the team Clint Wilson, Dave Stretton, Tim Stephenson & Pam Stephenson who started off strong with seven birdies in their first thirteen holes out of eighteen. However unfortunately they were unable to get another birdie on their final five holes. The runners up of the day, were off to a very slow start and were even par through eleven holes, although their was a great run of five birdies in seven holes to finish it off, to shot them up the leader board. Well done to Daniel Waddington, Andrew Ball, Trevor McMullen & Rod Carter who had nett 57.5.
A big congratulations to the winners Doug Maiden, Doug Binns , Matthew Hastie & Justin O'Malley Jones who finished with nett 56.875.who shot the lowest score of the day with a 64 and were always in conflict after a front nine of three under par and back nine of five par under. In the end the margin was just 0.625 of a shot, finishing with nett 56.875. We were lucky enough to have two local golf professionals join us on the day to help run some beginner golf lessons with twenty-one guests joining in.
